New Biome: Lava Pits
Dig deep enough and you'll break through into something you've never seen before — the Lava Pits. This scorching new underground biome is waiting for the bravest diggers, and it's not rolling out the welcome mat. The heat is brutal, the terrain is unforgiving, and two brand-new enemies are down there just waiting to ruin your run. Good luck.
New Enemies
The Lava Pits come with some very unwelcoming locals. First, there's the Rock Snake — a hulking stone serpent that barrels through the earth in a perfectly straight line, smashing through absolutely everything in its path. If you're standing in that line, you're going to feel it. Then there's the Totem, which is arguably more terrifying. This ancient statue materialises near you and fires projectiles that predict exactly where you're heading. The worst part? You can't destroy it. You'll need to wait it out or keep moving and hope it loses interest.
Leaderboards
The leaderboard system got a significant overhaul this patch. You can now toggle between Weekly and All-Time scores with a single tap, and weekly leaderboards reset every Monday with past weeks archived so your glory isn't lost forever. We've also added a platform social leaderboard button — tap it to jump directly into Google Play Games or Game Center leaderboards. The header now dynamically updates to show whichever mode and time period you're currently viewing, so there's no guessing what you're looking at.
Achievements Panel
The achievements panel has had a solid round of improvements. Notification badges now appear on any achievement that's ready to claim — you'll see them both on the main menu button and on the individual achievement slots themselves, so nothing slips through the cracks. There's also a new completion tracker at the top of the panel showing your overall claimed progress (e.g. COMPLETED 7 / 63). On top of that, we've added full sort controls: cycle through Default, Claimable, Progress, Completed, Name, and Type, and flip between ascending and descending order to find exactly what you're looking for.
Ranked Notifications
If you're competing in ranked weekly challenges, you'll now get a push notification whenever someone in your tier knocks you off your score. We know nobody likes spam, so notifications are throttled to at most one per hour — enough to keep you in the loop without blowing up your phone.
Sign-In
We've added Google Sign-In as a new login option. If Google Play Games or Game Center sign-in fails on your device, you can now sign in directly with your Google or Gmail account to keep your progress safely backed up to the cloud.
